Luxury Cotswolds Weekend.. @ Cheltenham Chase Hotel

Join us on a weekend to the stunning Cotswolds and staying at the beautiful Cheltenham chase hotel.

April 20th 2018

Day one.

Departing South Wales we head to the north of the Cotswolds and to the Medieval market town of Stratford upon Avon.
Stratford, famed for being the birthplace of Shakespeare, this is a vibrant town centre with typical high street shopping alongside independent stores, excellent restaurants and cafes. Add Ann Hathaways cottage and the opportunity to cruise on the river Avon  and as the man himself said..... "I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it"...

That evening it's an hours drive to the excellent Cheltenham chase hotel, where we check in for 2 nights dinner bed and breakfast.
This stunning old Georgian house is set in 12 acres of beautiful parkland and boasts a host of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Day two.
We head into the heart of the Cotswolds.  Stopping off at villages along the way including, Bourton-on-the-water ,  Stoke-on-the-wold and Broadway.   These chocolate box locations will charm you with stores selling local produce, gifts along with country pubs and restaurants to refresh your day of wandering...

Day three.
Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in Britain and one of the few English towns in which traditional and contemporary architecture complement each other.
Cheltenham, on the edge of the Cotswolds, is an inland spa resort of handsome Regency architecture, broad avenues and fine parks. The medicinal waters can be taken at several sites in the town but mainly at the Pittville Pump Room whose blue dome rises above the lakes of Pittville Park. You can still drink from its original pump, and it is England's only source of natural alkaline water.

The principal street of Cheltenham is the Promenade with its fine regency terraces and Neptune Fountain. Montpellier is where Cheltenham's elite reside. Here, small boutiques jostle for space with wine bars and restaurants such as Brasserie Blanc, Raymond Blanc's informal spin-off of Le Manoir at Oxford.

Departing mid afternoon for a late evening return home.

£179 per person based on two sharing a room.
£60 single supplement.
